U.S. 202 North, U.S. 30 East Ramp Restricted at Night Next Week and Weekend for Pavement Repairs in Chester County

Travel restrictions will be in place on northbound U.S. 202 and the ramp from the eastbound U.S. 30/Exton Bypass to northbound U.S. 202 next week and next weekend for concrete pavement repairs in East and West Whiteland townships, Chester County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, May 13, through Thursday, May 16, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, and continuously from 8:00 PM Friday, May 17, to 2:00 PM Sunday, May 19, northbound U.S. 202 will be restricted to a single lane between the Boot Road and Route 401 interchanges;
  • Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, and to 8:00 AM Saturday, May 18, the ramp from the eastbound U.S. 30/Exton Bypass to northbound U.S. 202 will be closed. Motorists will be detoured to the U.S. 30 Business exit, turn right on U.S. 30 Business and right on the ramp to northbound U.S. 202; and
  • From 8:00 AM Saturday, May 18, to Noon Sunday, May 19, the ramp from the eastbound U.S. 30/Exton Bypass to northbound U.S. 202 will be reduced to one lane.

Motorists are advised that backups may occur at times approaching the work zone. The schedule is weather dependent.
