Township Inclement Weather Update for 2/23/2026 – Office Closure & Trash/Recycling

Due to the forecasted inclement weather, Township administrative offices will be CLOSED Monday, Feb. 23, 2026. All Trash/Recycling and Bulk Collection has been CANCELLED for Monday 2/23/2026. All routes will run on a holiday one-day delay the remainder of the week. Public Works will be out clearing the snow throughout the storm. There is no parking on Township streets now through the end of the snow event .

Township Office Closed Feb. 16th

📣In observance of Presidents Day, our office will be closed on Monday, February 16th. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday.

🗑️ Trash & Recycling collection will not be affected and will run as normal.

Office Closure Martin Luther King Jr. Day

East Goshen Township offices will be closed on Monday, January 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 20, during normal business hours.
There will be no changes to the trash and recycling schedule.

Upcoming Road Closure Notice – Dutton Mill Road

Dutton Mill Road will be closed from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on December 8–12 and December 15–19 for soil boring work related to the Dutton Mill Road Bridge Replacement Project.

Paoli Pike Closed Between 352 & Vista Dr

11/7/25 – 2:10pm:  Paoli Pike is currently closed between 352 (N Chester Rd) and Vista Dr due to a broken telephone pole from a vehicle collision.  The road will reopen when the pole is fixed.  The walking trail is also closed on the south (Applebrook Park) side of Paoli Pike in this area.

Starting Monday, September 15, PennDOT will begin base repair operations that will temporarily close sections of Goshen Road and Strasburg Road in Willistown and East Goshen Townships. Click above for more information.

2026 Proposed Budget Meeting Schedule

Paving to Begin in Waterview Farms Neighborhood on August 11, 2025

Our Public Works Department will be paving the streets in Waterview starting August 11th (original planned start date was 8/4). Please put your trash, recycling, and yard waste out the night before your collection day as the hauler will be coming through first thing on collection mornings. Clover Ln and Hershey Mill Rd Closed on 7/9/25

4th of July Week Office Hours & Trash Schedule

Monday thru Thursday trash and recycling collections will not be affected. Friday, July 4th collection will be moved to Saturday, July 5th. Township Offices will be closed on Friday, July 4th . Regular office hours will resume Monday, July 7th. We hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday weekend!

Yard Waste Truck Breakdown – 5/21/25

One of the yard waste trucks broke down today.  AJ Blosenski is trying to get another truck here but may need to send trucks back tomorrow to finish the township.  Please leave everything out at the curb.
