Rechargeable Batteries

• Rechargeable batteries can be a fire hazard when not handled properly.
• They do NOT belong in trash bins OR recycling bins.
• They need to be treated as household hazardous waste, and taken to a Household Hazardous Waste event or a safe drop-off collection.
