America250 at Goshen
East Goshen Township is excited to partner with West Goshen Township to host a calendar year worth of activities to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence signing. After all, in 1776 the two current Townships were one, and known simply as Goshen Township. The local area we call home today has a remarkable place in our country’s early history. Did you know that the British military marched right up Route 352 and camped out in the Blacksmith Shop during the Revolutionary War? Or that the area at the corner of Green Hill Road and Route 352 was the site of a Revolutionary War skirmish?

The Friends of East Goshen (501c3) is proud to fundraise in support of East Goshen Township’s America250 campaign. Events, especially the America250 at Goshen, rely on business, family and individual contributions to help offset expenses. This event, with an anticipated crowd of 6,000 people, is offered free of charge to the general public and a wonderful way to support America250 here locally in Chester County.
