It’s always “Lights, Camera, Action” here in East Goshen Township! In 2019, we started the SE PA Teen Filmmakers Showcase with founding partner Movie Tavern Exton. The Showcase now receives more than 800 global submissions annually for is digital National/International Showcase Premiere. But at the heart is the Showcase held every August at the Movie Tavern. The event is 100%, from film/video submission, through your limo entrance and seeing your creative talents on the big screen! SE PA Teen Filmmakers Showcase, Impact Video
EG Parks and Recreation hosts 4-5 professional film shoots every year. These range from half day local TV commercial shoots through multi-day feature film productions.
We have a streamlined permit process, simple fee structure and logistically adaptable park locations.

Potential film locations include:
East Goshen Park; large active park with a destination playground, trails, pickleball courts, sports fields and clean grounds
Applebrook Park (located directly next to EGP); 100 acre passive park along a stream, rolling hills, vista vista views and trails
Blacksmith Shop: Working Blacksmith Shop, dating to 1740. Open twice weekly for demonstrations. Step back to the colonial times instantaneously.
Plank House (next to Blacksmith Shop); early 1800s Parlor style House
Beehives by the Blacksmith Shop; Township owned active beehives, perfect for environmental education film shoot.
