Tax Collector Vacancy

The East Goshen Township Tax Collector office will have a vacancy effective December 31, 2018.

To be considered for appointment, you must be a current township resident and have resided in the township continuously for at least one year. If interested, please contact the Township Manager, Rick Smith, by email or call 610-62-7171.

The Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 2018-79 authorizing the creation of a Sustainability Advisory Committee. The Mission Statement for the committee reads as follows:

“To develop, in partnership with the Board of Supervisors, residents, and businesses, a culture of (environmental, economic, & social) sustainability in East Goshen Township by utilizing innovation, education, communication, and comprehensive and strategic planning.”

If you are interested in serving on the Sustainability Advisory Committee, please complete the East Goshen Township ABC Volunteer form and submit it along with a copy of your resume to Rick Smith, Township Manager.


Volunteers needed
On 7/17/18 the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 2018-78 authorizing the creation of a Pipeline Task Force.

If interested in serving on the Task Force, submit a completed ABC Volunteer form with a resume to Rick Smith, Twp Mgr.

Currently, there is one opening for the Historical Commission.  If interested, please complete the ABC Volunteer Form and  attach your resume and scan and email both documents to rsmith@eastgoshen.org or you can mail the documents to Township Office (1580 Paoli Pike, West Chester, PA 19380).

Green Thumbs needed!!!

Help us make the Butterfly Pollinator Garden a beautiful park asset for years to come! Volunteers will be needed to ensure the garden is weeded, watered and loved! Experience not needed – just enthusiasm! If you have experience leading environmental education and/or nature classes – contact Jason at jlang@eastgoshen.org!
