East Goshen Township is responsible for local roadways.
The Township’s Public Works department is responsible for the maintenance, plowing and repaving of all 67 miles of Township roads; the day-to-day operation of the Township’s sanitary sewer system (through a lease-back arrangement with the Municipal Authority), which includes 86 miles of sewer lines, four pumping stations and the Ridley Creek Sewer Treatment Plant; the maintenance and improvement of the Township’s stormsewer infrastructure; management and oversight of the Township’s trash and recycling contract; and the maintenance of East Goshen Park, Applebrook Park, satellite parks and Township open space.
PennDOT is responsible for state roads.
